OUR SERVICES

Routine Hygiene
Routine Exams

Regular exams are an important part of maintaining your oral health. During your regular exam, we will:

  • Check for any problems that you may not see or feel

  • Look for cavities or any other signs of tooth decay

  • Inspect your teeth and gums for gingivitis and signs of periodontal disease

  • Perform a thorough teeth cleaning

Visiting our office every 6 months gives you the chance to talk to the doctor about any questions you may have regarding your oral health.

Dental Hygiene

A professional dental cleaning is part of good oral hygiene  to maintain healthy teeth and gums.  Professional teeth cleaning with one of our qualified dental hygienist's targets to:

  • remove plaque

  •  tarter and

  • stains accumulated on the teeth

We recommend having your teeth professionally cleaned every 6 months to reduce the likelihood of periodontal disease. In between routine cleanings, good oral hygiene at home is vital to prevent tarter build-up and gum disease.

FillCrownBridge
Dental Fillings
& Crowns

Dental fillings are most commonly used to treat cavities, but they’re also used to repair cracked or broken teeth, or teeth that have been worn down over time.

Most dental filling procedures feature the following:

  • Topical anesthetic to numb the area of treatment

  • Decay removal from the affected teeth

  • Tooth restoration using a composite or amalgam filling

  • Bite check to make sure your teeth align comfortably

Dental crowns cover existing teeth, restoring strength, function, and beauty. Patients with extensive tooth decay, broken teeth or cracked teeth that cannot be repaired with bonded fillings often require dental crowns. We also use crowns to anchor a bridge, enhance the appearance of teeth, and restore teeth treated with root canals

Dental implants

An implant is a synthetic tooth root in the shape of a post that is surgically placed into the jawbone. The “root” is usually made of titanium: the same material used in many replacement hips and knees, and a metal that is well-suited to pairing with human bone. A replacement tooth is then fixed to the post. The tooth can be either permanently attached or removable. Permanent teeth are more stable and feel more like natural teeth.

The ideal candidate for implants is a non-smoker who has good oral health, including a sufficient amount of bone in the jaw, and healthy gums with no sign of gum disease.

Braces / Invisalign

They are the most common choice for teenagers and adults. The metal braces are the original braces. Now, with the advancement of technology, they are the smallest, very well-polished, and strongest of all the types of braces. They have color ties that go on top of them to hold the wire. The big advantage of conventional braces is that they work even for the hardest, most difficult cases.

Invisalign® is the invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces. Invisalign® uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. Because the treatment involves clear braces, you will not have to worry about the embarassment that is often associated with traditional metal braces. Invisalign® has been proven effective in clinical research. Invisalign - How it works:

Bridges

A bridge may be used to replace missing teeth, help maintain the shape of your face, and alleviate stress on your bite. A bridge replaces missing teeth with artificial teeth, looks great, and literally bridges the gap where one or more teeth may have been. Your bridge can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials and is bonded onto surrounding teeth for support.

Implants
Extractions

Wisdom teeth are the last set of teeth to develop. Sometimes they emerge from the gum line, and the jaw is large enough to allow room for them, but more often than not, they fail to emerge and become impacted. When a wisdom tooth is impacted, it may need to be removed. Impacted wisdom teeth that are partially or fully erupted tend to be quite difficult to clean and are susceptible to tooth decay, recurring infections and even gum disease. We strongly recommend wisdom teeth to be removed by the time the patient is a young adult to prevent future problems and to ensure optimal healing.

RootCanal
root Canals

When a tooth is cracked or has a deep cavity, bacteria can enter the pulp tissue and germs can cause an infection inside the tooth. If left untreated, an abscess may form. If the infected tissue is not removed, pain and swelling can result. This can not only injure your jawbones, but it is also detrimental to your overall health. Root canal treatment involves one to three visits. During treatment, your general dentist or endodontist (a dentist who specializes in problems with the nerves of the teeth) removes the affected tissue. Next, the interior of the tooth will be cleaned and sealed. Finally, the tooth is filled with a dental composite. If your tooth has extensive decay, your doctor may suggest placing a crown to strengthen and protect the tooth from breaking. As long as you continue to care for your teeth and gums with regular brushing, flossing, and checkups, your restored tooth can last a lifetime.

Veneers

Veneers are a thin shell made out of porcelain or composite material that are cemented to the front side of the teeth. Veneers are used to treat slightly crooked teeth, discolored teeth, chipped teeth or to cover spaces in between teeth. A conservative treatment that yields beautiful, natural looking results.
